Founder & Physician, Internal Medicine
Dr. Ruchi Patel is a physician, engineer, and inventor who brings systems thinking to human-centered care: better care begins with seeing the whole system — and the whole person.
She earned her B.E. in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union and completed her Internal Medicine residency (Primary Care Track) at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, with experience in the pharma industry, a U.S. patent, and a television appearance along the way.
A Princeton-area native, she's happy to serve her hometown after training in New York City. She founded GenerationsMD on the belief that thoughtful relationships and well-built systems can change the trajectory of a person's health — prevention, chronic disease management, and lifestyle medicine.
Outside the office, she enjoys nature and traveling with her pediatrician husband and their son. She's passionate about New Jersey's pizza, bagels, and diners…though she'll be the first to tell you moderation is key.
She holds an active New Jersey medical license and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
